River Ganga Expedition
A few months ago, Birla International School embarked on an exciting expedition, bringing together 12 of the brightest students from various schools across Belgaum. This 8-day adventure took them from Belgaum to the sacred waters of the mighty Ganga, combining learning, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences.

The journey continued along the sacred Ganga River, where students engaged in various activities, including interviews with local inhabitants, exploring regional food and culture, and studying the surrounding natural environment. They also gained insights into the river’s cultural and ecological significance in India.udents.
What Our Students Learned
This expedition was designed to push boundaries and expand horizons. Over the course of 8 days, students developed critical skills like leadership, teamwork, resilience, and environmental stewardship. They also gained hands-on experience in subjects like geography, history, and cultural studies.
Leadership
Students took turns leading various aspects of the trip, from planning routes to organizing evening activities.
